Throughout 2025, I had the opportunity to work with Crosswalk Redlands in visualizing and conceptualizing, branding, and marketing their Belonging conference.
This weekend-long event brought 21 Crosswalk Campuses and groups to one location in Redlands, California, and featured keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and community building activities.
In directing the visual style of Crosswalk’s 2025 conference, my role was to cohesively and distinctly communicate the idea of belonging in a way in a memorable way that would resonate with audiences and live up to the quality that community members have come to expect from Crosswalk Redlands.

LOGOS, ASSETS, & STYLES
As a core value of Crosswalk Church, belonging signifies love, radical inclusion, and acceptance of everyone, as they are, without exception. Visually representing this theme for Crosswalk Conference 2025 consisted of blending contemporary graphic design, fine art, and symbolism to highlight the concept of each individual in a community playing an important role in being part of a collective whole.
This resulted in final logo variations, visual assets, and visual styles that were both unique and identifiable, representative of belonging and inclusion, and in line with Crosswalk’s existing look and feel. This visual identity was created with a variety of applications in mind, ranging from social media and screens to print and merchandise.

Logo and visual asset variations came with both black and white versions, and colors were based around Crosswalk Church’s already exisitng palette of brand colors.
By using clean and familiar yet unique typography, imagery and symbols of collective unity, and utilization of the branding assets, the resulting product both stand on it’s own, but also point to Crosswalk Church and it’s previous conferences.
Throughout the beginning stages of the ideation process for Crosswalk’s 2025 conference, logo styles and visual identities were narrowed down through a process of creative critique and revision.
For each round of revision, various logo lockups and thematic imagery were presented.

SCREENS & SIGNAGE
LED WALL SLIDE GRAPHICS & INFORMATIONAL SIGNAGE
Using the Crosswalk Conference 2025 style guide, signage was created to be used throughout the weekend of the event. This predominantly consisted of screen graphcis for presentation, including a hero graphic, slide background, speaker nameplates, lower thirds, and other applicable designs for various screen sizes.
By creating a variety of different looks using a consistent visual language, audiences were presented with a unique, cohesive, and conceptually intriguing look and feel for the Crosswalk Conference experience.

EVENT PROMOTION & AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT
In the weeks leading up to the weekend of Crosswalk Conference, consistent social media posting was critical in raising awareness of the event, as well as connecting with Crosswalk’s global network of campuses, communities, groups, and affiliates.
Posts created for the designated Crosswalk Conference instagram account consisted of carousel posts, reels, and photo throwbacks that built excitement surrounding the event. Consistent content featuring members of Crosswalk church worldwide, re-enforced the idea of belonging and fostered community engagment.
All posts were created using the defined style guide, allowing for a unique and cohesive feel.

PRINT & MERCHANDISE
MAKING THE EXPERIENCE TANGIBLE
Using the core value statement of belonging, Crosswalk Conference 2025 merch was created for attendees purchase. Using the visual style implemented across various platforms, typographic designs adorned t-shirts and hoodies for a memorable take-home conference experience.
Merchandise designs went through two rounds of revision, resulting in two final designs for a zip-up hoodie and t-shirt. These single color prints feature typography heavy graphics, incorporating the applicable typefaces and fonts. This resulted in unique yet cohesive designs for people to take home and remember the event with.
