As my senior thesis project for my B.F.A. at La Sierra Univerity, I had the opportunity and privilege to create a cohesive body of fine art work for my 2024 solo exhibition, titled “Watching From The Outside In”.
This collection of multi-media artwork, presented at La Sierra Univeristy’s Brandstater Gallery, consisted of
CREATIVE CONCEPTUALIZATION
CROSSWALK SERMON SERIES
In collaboration with the pastoral writing team for Crosswalk Global, I oversee the visual direction of key branding and creative assets for each sermon series.
Through multiple rounds of ideation and revision, the final product acts both an identifier of each sermon series, as well as a thought-provoking image tying into the series’ theme, inviting the audience to engage with the sermon on a deeper level.
Deliverables include custom graphics packages with unique series logos, title cards, content slides, and lower third graphics for screen application.
Each series’ graphics package were created through creative collaboration with the Crosswalk Redlands creative writing team, with multiple rounds of revision and meetings before determining the look and feel of the final graphics package.
This process resulted in a refined and distinct look for each sermon series, resonating with audiences on a visual, theological, and spiritual level.

GENERAL SIGNAGE
PRINT AND DIGITAL PROMOTIONAL GRAPHICS
Promotional signage advertising events, services, and ministries at Crosswalk Redlands, created with both digital and print application in mind.
These graphics are predominantly shown on the LED wall at Crosswalk Redlands, and throughout the Crosswalk Redlands main lobby. A-frame and other print signage in designated areas are also included.
SOCIAL MEDIA
MAINTAINGING AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT
Using social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok, I create content on a weekly basis to promote engagement, reflection, and in-person attendance at Crosswalk Redlands’ events.
Regular posts include sermon excerpt reels, event recap photo carousels, event promotion graphics and reels, and general informational update posts. This variety of posts maintains audience involvement and a sense of community, both online and in-person.

Each event consisted of a unique look and feel, which was carried across all branding. This would include social media posts and LED wall signage, as well as occasional print signage and merchandise.
These memorable visual elements serve as a way for participants to remember the experiences they shared and were a part of at Crosswalk Redlands.
EVENT BRANDING
PROMOTION AND AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT
Throughout the year, Crosswalk Redlands hosts multiple community events. in promoting these events, I created uniquely identifiable logos and visual styles to match the look and feel of the experience.
Consistent and recognizable branding utilizing both illustration and typography served as a way for audience members get excited and keep events top-of-mind throughout it’s promotional cycle. This was enhanced by utilizing visual styles resonating with Crosswalk Redlands’ core audience.
